About High Court:

The Meghalaya High Court is the High Court of the state of Meghalaya. It was established in March 2013, after making suitable amendments in the Constitution of India and North-Eastern Areas (Re-organization) Act, 1971. Earlier, a bench of the Gauhati High Court used to have jurisdiction over the state of Meghalaya. The seat of the High Court is at Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. Strength of judges are for this High Court is 3 permanent judges including the Chief Justice

Candidate Profile:

Recruitment of Judicial Service Gr.-II 07 Posts

Age: Age must be between 30 to 45 ( Gen) , 48 years for SC/ ST candidates

Application Fee:

1) Rs.500/- for General candidates

2) Rs.250/- for SC/ ST candidates

How to Apply: 

1) Method- Form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Registrar General, High Court of Meghalaya” payable at “Shillong

2) Candidates who are eligible and interested can send their application along with attested copies of certificate of proof of their bar council’s registration, educational qualification, age and practice certificate with DD should reach to Registrar General, High Court of Meghalaya on or before 27th of july

Selection process: 

1) Written test
2) Viva voce test
3)  Interview.

Note: Meghalaya High Court make Recruitment for posts of Lower Division Clerk, Stenographer & other Posts.
